Staircon CAM Optimization at Presser Trappen We recently optimized the Bsolid postprocessor for our client Presser Trappen, based in Roggel in the Dutch province of Limburg.
A postprocessor is the crucial link between CAM software and a CNC machine. By configuring it correctly for the machine, the tools being used, and the customer’s production methods, the generated output aligns more effectively with the day-to-day manufacturing process.
This optimization has allowed us to further improve the workflow between design and production. In practice, this results in:
- a smoother transfer from CAD/CAM to CNC;
- fewer manual corrections afterwards;
- a reduced risk of production errors;
- greater stability and reliability at the machine.
For us, software optimization goes beyond simply adjusting technical settings. It is about understanding the production process and translating it into an efficient, reliable, and predictable digital workflow.
